Ekal’s engineering team can help transform product idea into 2D drawing and 3D model development.
Ekal can easily convert 3D model of product idea into tangible product using 3D printing technology. 3D printed model helps in the development of molds, dies and milling cutters of product idea (new product). Secondly the 3D tangible model helps to eliminate the functional difficulties in a product idea, which can subsequently be improved to reach an ideal product.
Once the 3D plastic model is finalized; Ekal uses EDM machines, CNC machines and combination of milling machines for the development of stainless steel samples. Combination of these machines helps Ekal to reach the final sample development at maximum pace.
Ekal uses a variety of meters to calculate the force required for closing of scissors, closing bite forces of hemostatic forceps, bulldog clamps and push force required for the closing of Tweezers. These meters are ideal for achieving consistent product quality, consistent opening/closing operating of products and choosing the best spring for the products.
Ekal uses Rockwell hardness meters to test the hardness of products after heat treatment. At the moment two types of meters are used.
1. Handheld Meter (For measuring HRC during packaging stage)
2. Fixed Station HRC Meter (For measuring HRC of batch after heat treatment)
These meters help Ekal to maintain the desired HRC level in the products.
Digital microscopes are used for the inspection of Micro Teeth, De-Bakey Teeth and Ophthalmic Forceps
Jaws. 500x digital microscope can be focused on particular spot of the product and magnified image
can be seen on digital screen.
